Hackettstown Street Fair & World Cup Final Celebration
Join me at the 20th Annual Hackettstown Street Fair, now bigger than ever with a special World Cup Final Celebration!
This family-friendly event will feature more than 175 vendors, artisans, crafters, food vendors, live entertainment, kids' activities, local shopping, and three World Cup watch party areas throughout downtown Hackettstown.
Be sure to stop by The Painted Cookie booth for a variety of sweet treats, including hand-decorated sugar cookies, cake pops, chocolate-covered treats, gourmet drop cookies, Rice Krispie treats, and more. We'll also be bringing special soccer-inspired cookies created just for this exciting event!
Admission is free, making it the perfect summer outing for the whole family.

Hackettstown Oktoberfest 2026
Join us for one of Hackettstown's most anticipated fall traditions! Hackettstown Oktoberfest returns for a fun-filled weekend featuring craft vendors, delicious food, live entertainment, family activities, contests, and more throughout downtown Hackettstown.
Stroll along Main Street, Valentine Street, and Grand Avenue while enjoying shopping, seasonal festivities, great food, and community spirit. With activities for all ages, Oktoberfest is the perfect way to celebrate the arrival of fall with family and friends.

Sussex County Harvest, Honey & Garlic Festival
Celebrate the flavors of fall at the 15th Annual Sussex County Harvest, Honey & Garlic Festival! This FREE family-friendly event returns to the Sussex County Fairgrounds on Saturday, October 17, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Explore a vibrant farmers market featuring locally grown fruits and vegetables, cheeses, wines, honey products, garlic, and more. Meet local beekeepers and garlic growers, browse educational exhibits, and learn about the important role these industries play in our community.
Visitors can also shop from dozens of local artisans, crafters, and specialty vendors offering unique handmade goods and seasonal products. Families will enjoy kid-friendly activities including wagon rides, pumpkin painting, and crafts.
Best of all, the event is held under cover, making it a great destination rain or shine.

Hi, I’m Jackie! The baker, decorator, and dough-obsessed creator behind The Painted Cookie
I started decorating cookies in 2021 as a fun hobby, and it quickly became so much more. What began as experimenting in my kitchen turned into a creative passion and eventually, my home bakery. I absolutely love bringing designs to life and baking treats that make people smile.
The Painted Cookie is proudly run from my home with the love and support of my wonderful husband and our two amazing kids. They’re my biggest cheerleaders and often help with taste testing, packaging, and even the dreaded dishes!
